Protests against police brutality persist because we fail to address the root issue of inequality, which fosters suspicion of crime or leads to crime itself. Addressing this core problem could significantly reduce such incidents. Deadly police interactions are not always about race; they’re about control, injustice, and profiling. Incoherent, naturally disobedient, uneducated individuals who are on drugs can also be culprits, but they don't always deserve their fate. We allow macho cops with malicious or anxious minds sometimes uneducated minds to fuel the problem, while corrupt, damaged, intelligent men secretly destroy nations. Countries fight for land and resources.

However, corporate donations to food banks show that corporations can play a positive role, as can local communities. Neighbors, local businesses, tiny house builders, and other community driven initiatives can often step in to provide housing and other essential services when government systems fail.
